Next Generation Sunshine State Standards
In the interest of ensuring that the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards in the Arts (NGSSS-Arts-Music) are clear, concise, and accurate, the Florida Department of Education’s Bureau of Curriculum and Instruction invites you to rate each of the Enduring Understandings and Benchmarks, and provide valuable feedback to the Writers. If you would like to explore the source materials from which these standards were derived, please review the Resource Page for Florida Music used by the Framers and Writers of the proposed standards. Thank you for taking the time to help promote world-class instruction for all of Florida’s students.
January Conference Session Notes
FEMEA will no longer print conference booklets with session notes. Instead, all clinicians will be required to print hard copies of their session notes. These notes will be available to both members and non-members on a first-come, first-served basis. However, FEMEA will provide our members with a digital copy of all session notes upon check-in. You will still receive copies of notes from all FEMEA sessions. However, if you want to have a hard copy during the session, you’ll want to plan to arrive early.
FEMEA on FaceBook
FEMEA has a FaceBook page to help keep our members in the loop with all the latest happenings. Log on to FaceBook and go to the FEMEA FaceBook page to join us for discussion, pictures, and more!
