11:00am - Keynote Address, Donald Hunsberger

1:30 pm - Classroom Management, Suzi Lalama

2:45 pm - Score Study: Planning for the Rehearsal, Donald Hunsberger

4:00 pm - Masterworks-Middle School Level, Gary Bottomly with the Directors Band  Get your chops in shape and bring your instrument to participate in the FBA Directors Band.  This is a great opportunity for fellowship and hands-on learning.  

7:00 pm - Southern Winds Concert, Bobby Adams, Conductor

Friday:

9:00 am - Warm up Techniques, Thomas Singletary with the Directors Band (bring your instrument)

10:15 am - Rehearsing When Time is Limited: Mariam Burns, conductor of the Tallahassee Symphony

11:30 am - Observe Mariam Burns rehearse the Florida Community Band

1:30 pm - Ear Training, Paula Thornton with the Directors Band

2:45 pm - Masterworks: High School Level - Ken Williams with the Directors Band

4:00 pm - Closing Remarks, Donald Hunsberger

4:30 pm - FBA Business Meeting

5:30 - 7:00 pm - Reception honoring retiring executive director Duane Hendon, open microphone for tributes, heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served

7:30 pm - Florida Community Band, Bentley Shellahamer & J. Jossim, conductors
