September 1 FBA/FMEA/MENC Dues Deadline
All-State Audition Registration Closes on MPA Online at midnight;
Application & Assessment Due to Richard Davenport
(Assessment: $10 per student - checks payable to FBA District 2 -Late Fees Apply)
September 5 Reservation window opens @9am for Tampa Hotels for FMEA Convention
September 14 All-State Auditions @ Surfside Middle School, 5:00-7:00pm
September 15 FSMA Membership Deadline
September 25 State Honor Band Nominations Due to respective chairpersons
October 1 Classification Form to Richard Davenport (all schools)
District Marching Festival Entry Deadline on MPA Online
October 24 District 2 Marching Festival, Tommy Oliver Stadium (Host: Bozeman HS)
November 9 District Meeting @ Bay High School (6:00 Meal, 7:00 Meeting)
January 6-9 FMEA Clinic/Conference/All-State, Tampa
January 19 District Meeting @ Chipley High School, (6:00 Meal, 7:00 Meeting)
• Solo & Ensemble/Concert Festival Entry Due on MPA Online
• S&E/Concert/Assessment Forms (hard copies from Disk) Due
• Assessment Due (Checks payable to FBA District 2)
• Bring to meeting or send to Richard Davenport; your school will not be scheduled for
Concert MPA or S&E until assessment is paid – no exceptions.
February 12 & 13 District 2 Solo & Ensemble Festival, Baptist College of Florida, Graceville
February 27 Jazz MPA @ Arnold HS
March 12 & 13 District 2 Concert Band MPA Chipley & Panama City
April 5-7 State Solo & Ensemble/Jazz/Auxiliary Festival, West Port HS
April 26-30 State Concert Band MPA (North), Ft. Walton & another location TBA
May 3 District Meeting @Mosley High School (6:00 Dinner, 7:00 Meeting)
July 10-12 FBA Summer Convention, Altamonte Springs Hilton, Orlando
Please adhere to all entry deadlines to avoid late fee penalties!
$50 after deadline, $100 after the 7th day!
