Floor Plan: Tampa Convention Center 2nd & 3rd Floors
Greetings.
Thank you again for agreeing to perform at the FMEA 2012 conference. Below are a few bits of logistical information which will hopefully assist you in the planning process for your performance:
FMEA Mini-Concert Performance Information
- - All ensemble directors must register for the conference in order to perform at FMEA
- - When you pre-register for the conference online, you will have an option to either upload a student/chaperone file or enter each name individually - student and chaperone day badges will be created at no cost and delivered to you prior to your performance
- - Please arrive at least one hour prior to the start of your performance
- - You will unload at the channel entrance (see attached conference center map)
- - Parking in the channel entrance unloading area is not permitted - buses and equipment trucks must find parking outside of this area after unloading
- - The performance stage is located near the second floor registration area in the Tampa Convention Center
- - Upon arrival, your session coordinator will meet with you and assist with your stage setup
- - Your session coordinator will also introduce your ensemble to the audience
- - You will have 30 minutes prior to the start time of your performance to set up and briefly warm up
- - Please store all cases behind the stage - we do not have storage facilities for equipment
- - Please have an adult chaperone available at all times to keep all equipment safe
- - Your total performance time should be no more than 25 minutes
- - After your performance, please clear the stage as soon as possibl
- The following equipment will be available for your use:
1 - Microphone with P/A system (for announcements only)
15 - Music Stands
25 - Chairs
- - You are required to bring all other necessary equipment for your performance
- - Risers or platforms are strictly prohibited for all Mini-Concert performances
