DCA dollars help arts and cultural organizations leverage support from other revenue sources to help meet their project/program expenses, approximately 51% must be raised. Collective earned income for most of Florida's arts and cultural organizations is 49%; the balance has to be raised.  DCA support is critical to help secure additional dollars.

DCA Serves as centralized state agency for technical assistance and resources for arts and cultural development for entire state, with a special focus on underserved and rural counties.
