Michelle Guest
President
Michelle is currently a senior instrumental music education major at Florida State University. She plays the horn. Over Michelle's time in college she has participated in many of FSU's ensembles including Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Campus Band, Horn Choir, and various chamber groups. She is a proud sister of Sigma Alpha Iota. In FSU's CMENC chapter, Michelle serves as Secretary and coordinates the Membership Committee. Outside of her classes, she teaches marching band and brass sectionals at Leon High School. Michelle has spent five years marching drum corps, including 2008 and 2009 with the Cadets. In the future, she would like to teach band and guitar at the middle or high school level.

Nicholas Casiano
Past President
Nicholas Casiano is currently the past-president of FCMENC. He is a native Floridian and has several years of experience teaching String Orchestra, Keyboard, Choir, and ESE-Reading in the Dade County and Monroe Public School System.
Cory Simpson
Treasurer
Cory is a senior music education major at Southeastern University, where he plays euphonium and trombone in the wind ensemble and jazz band. Along with being an active member of his CMENC chapter, Cory also tutors music and aural theory at SEU and works with several marching band programs in Polk and Pinellas County. Cory spent five years marching drum corps, the final two being with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2006 and 2007. After graduating, he plans to teach instrumental music at either the middle or high school level.

Joshua Autrey
Parlimentarian/Historian
Joshua Autrey is a senior, Instrumental Music Education Major, at The Florida State University. His main instrument in ensembles is the clarinet, but he also plays trumpet and saxophone for fun in his spare time. Besides serving as the Parliamentarian/Historian on the FCMENC Executive Board and serving as an active member of the Florida State CMENC Chapter, he is also very involved with The Marching Chiefs, Seminole Sound basketball pep band, and the University Concert Band. Joshua is an active member of Gamma Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, an organization dedicated to serving the college of music at FSU and the bands at schools.

Chris Hinojosa
Web/Tech Chair
Chris is currently a senior music b.a. major at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL where he is involved with various instrumental ensembles on campus contributing on the flute and piccolo. Chris is also the CEO of Brit Spit Productions, as well as serving as the Media Director and department head for Ignited Media Productions. His discography includes nearly 20 different album recordings where he has written, arranged, and performed music for. He is a member of TI:ME, technology institute for music educators, and also enjoys scoring music for short films that have featured at film festivals such as the 180 Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.

Kathy Crane
Membership Chair
Kathy Crane is a senior at the University of Florida studying Music Education with a Choral Emphasis. She is currently serving as the President of the UF Chapter of CMENC and has also served the chapter as Vice President and Treasurer. She is also the current President of the UF Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. A sister of Sigma Alpha Iota, international music fraternity for women, Kathy will be serving as Co-Music Director for Delta Gamma chapter this year. She is also the Music Director of a community service singing group called SONG (Singing Organization for a Nation of Gators).
Richard Balach
Secretary
Richard Balach is a junior music education major at Southeastern University. He sings tenor with Southeastern’s chamber choir and is involved with his church’s music department. He is actively involved in his chapter of CMENC, serving as the current President. He is involved in the musical theater department also, participating in a recent production of Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. He is looking forward to this new and exciting season in his life.

Claire Smith
Awards Chair
Claire is a junior instrumental music education major at Florida State University. She is currently President-Elect of the FSU chapter of CMENC. This season, Claire will be the head flute section leader for the Marching Chiefs. She is a proud sister of the Beta Alpha chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, of which she is a committee chair. Claire has played flute and piccolo in the University Philharmonia Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Flute Choir. She is also a member of the Seminole Sound Pep Band.
